Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups cooked Teff Grain
  • 1/2 cup Chickpea Flour
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1 tbsp. Red Peppers, diced
  • 1 tbsp. Green Peppers, diced
  • 1 tbsp. Onion Powder
  • 2 tsp. Ground Sage
  • 1 tsp. Fennel Powder
  • 1 tsp. Oregano
  • 1 tsp. Sea Salt
  • 1 tsp. Basil
  • 1/2 tsp. Dill
  • 1/2 tsp. Crushed Red Pepper
  • Grape Seed Oil
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Skillet

 

Directions

  • On a medium-high heat, saute onions and peppers in about 1 tablespoon of grape seed oil for 2-3 minutes.
  • Adding in the chickpea flour last, combine remaining ingredients and sauteed vegetables in a large bowl and mix well.
  • On a medium heat, add 1-2 tablespoons of grape seed oil to a skillet.
  • Form teff mixture into patties and cook for 3 minutes on each side, until crispy.
